Margaret Vogel, M.Ed.

Margaret Vogel helps people navigate change, preserve what matters, and build what comes next. Through Groundswell Consulting, she works with organizations, families, caregivers, and individuals who find themselves at important crossroads—moments when the future is uncertain, but the opportunity for growth, connection, and purpose is great.

Her work brings together strategic planning, facilitation, storytelling, family legacy, caregiving support, and heritage travel. Whether guiding a nonprofit through organizational transition, helping a family preserve cherished memories, supporting caregivers, or designing meaningful heritage experiences, Margaret's approach begins with listening.

She believes that every person, family, and organization has a story worth honoring—and that understanding where we have been helps us move forward with greater wisdom and clarity.

Margaret's professional background includes leadership development, community engagement, program management, education, healthcare, and organizational consulting. She has spent more than two decades helping people build stronger communities, healthier relationships, and more meaningful futures.

She is also the author of You May Take Three Apples, a children's book celebrating generosity, gratitude, and the abundance that grows when we share.

A lifelong learner, family historian, traveler, and storyteller, Margaret is especially interested in the connections between memory, identity, belonging, and legacy.

She lives in Ohio with her husband Jerry When she’s not facilitating or writing, Margaret enjoys hiking with her golden doodle, traveling with her family, and watching her grandson encounter the world… And when she is feeling very brave, you will find her doing open mic Stand-Up comedy in and around the Cleveland area.
